When shopping for clean produce, try to purchase organic whenever possible. Conventional fruits and vegetables often come coated with pesticides. However, if organic options are beyond your budget, there’s no need to worry. For items with thick, inedible skins (such as avocados or bananas), non-organic varieties are generally considered safer.
